SOLUTIONS · Smart Warehouse (WMS)

Every pallet, every bin, every batch — accounted for.

A WMS replaces Excel, habit and memory with scan-driven tasks: receiving that checks, put-away that guides, picking that verifies — and inventory accuracy you can audit.

WHAT IT IS

Smart Warehouse — WMS

Know where every pallet, box and batch is — and make the fastest path from receiving to line-side the default path.

Most factory warehouses run on Excel, habit and memory — until one stock miss stops the line. A WMS replaces all three with barcode-driven tasks: receiving checks, guided put-away, enforced FIFO/FEFO, picking with scan verification, and cycle counts that keep the system honest without shutting the warehouse down.

PAIN → RELIEF

What changes when this goes live

TODAY

The system says 320 boxes; the line counts 296

WITH WMS

Cycle counts keep the system honest — without closing the warehouse

TODAY

FIFO depends on who is on shift

WITH WMS

The system refuses the wrong lot — FIFO/FEFO enforced by rule

TODAY

New staff need weeks to learn where things are

WITH WMS

Guided put-away and picking — the task itself tells you where to go

WHAT YOU GET

The features, in three honest groups

IN — receiving done right

  • Barcode/RFID receiving against the purchase order
  • Inspection gates: nothing enters stock unchecked
  • Supplier labels or internal relabel, your choice
  • Lot numbers and expiry captured at the dock

INSIDE — stored to be found

  • Bin-level locations for every pallet and box
  • Put-away guided by the system, first time right
  • FIFO/FEFO enforced by rule, not memory
  • Zone and capacity rules that fit your racks

OUT — issued to the line

  • Pick and issue tasks on handheld or tablet, scan-verified
  • Kit staging for production orders
  • Returns and reversals logged with reasons
  • Two-way sync with ERP purchasing and accounting

A DAY ON THE FLOOR

What it looks like in real time

08:10 · Truck arrives

Receiving scans against the PO; rejected pallets never enter stock.

13:30 · The line calls for material

Picker gets a task with location and lot — a scan verifies before release.

17:00 · Daily stock check

One aisle cycle-counted tonight — accuracy without ever closing the warehouse.

HOW WE DEPLOY

Three phases, no big bang

1

Weeks 1–2 · Label & load

Locations and items labeled, opening balances loaded, rules configured per zone.

2

Weeks 3–5 · One zone live

Raw-materials zone goes live first — the zone that hurts the line most when it lies.

3

Months 2–3 · All zones + ERP

Remaining zones onboarded, ERP two-way sync switched on, cycle-count rhythm established.

THE HONEST PART

THE HONEST PART

A WMS rewards discipline — master data and locations must be right from day one. We budget that cleanup into the project, because that is where projects actually fail.

Before you ask

Barcode or RFID?

Barcode first — cheap, proven, good enough for most plants. RFID earns its cost where volume and speed justify it; we advise per zone.

Can it run on our existing scanners?

Usually yes — Android terminals and most industrial scanners are supported. We check your fleet in the diagnosis.

We also store finished goods and molds — same system?

One WMS, zone-specific rules: molds get their own location and maintenance logic; finished goods tie to orders and shipments.

Peak season is chaos — is implementation risky?

We never big-bang. One zone goes live first, the next cutovers are planned into low season, and the warehouse keeps running throughout.
